·         Instructor for Principal’s Qualification Course module on parent and community involvement in education at Nipissing University
·         Appointed by Minister of Education Gerard Kennedy to the Interim Ontario Parent Involvement Advisory Board.
·          Founded the Parent Involvement Centre (www.parentinvolvement.ca) in 2005
·          Completed Master of Education dedicated to advancing parent and community involvement in education
·          Appointed by Minister of Education Gerard Kennedy to the Parent Voice in Education Project in 2004
·          Engaged parents across Ontario in a provincial consultation in 2005 resulting in a new provincial policy for parental involvement and new funding
·          Regular columnist for the School Advocate 2002 - 2009
·          Founded the Ontario School Council Support Centre (www.schoolcouncils.net) in 2000
